James is a perfect example of an excellent employee. Not only does he volunteer to take on new projects when needed, but he’s punctual, reliable, and willing to stay late when required to get the job done!
Seemingly unaware, he serves as a role model for his fellow Controls Shop peers by following university policies and safety protocols. He often comes up with ideas to improve energy efficiency, equipment longevity, and customer comfort.
As if that isn’t enough, he is a pleasure to work with, always willing to assist a coworker or share his knowledge and expertise. Often labeled as a “One Man Show,” James is very self-directed, rarely requiring direction or oversight.
Those who know him would say he is very compassionate and always willing to sacrifice his time to help. He is an asset to both App State and the community.
